About the event
The western experience through song and story.
Show 2 of the Keep Us Live season features Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame singer, songwriter and storyteller R.W. Hampton. Before he was known for his songs about cowboy life, R.W. worked ranches in the Texas Panhandle and eastern New Mexico. He has since built an award-winning career in music, movies and theatre out of his love of the West.
During the cocktail buffet, Amarillo College student writers will be showcased in the academic wing of historic Ordway Hall, and AC's Natural History Museum (a hidden gem) will be open to explore.
